Being a child in the 1990's, I don't believe that the 90's died after Dec, 31st 1999 at twelve a.m. but more like sometime between 2006 - 2008 maybe. Before you say it, I'm talking about more like pop culture and not the 90's decade it'self.

Just like the how the 80's officially died sometime in 1994 and actually begun maybe in 1978 or 79 if you think about how disco didn't really die, but became reinvented into new wave or pop music. Rock sort of died sometime in the late 80's after being reincarnated into Seattle grunge and alternative rock.

Believe it or not, Nirvana, Faith No More, Nine Inch Nails, and Alice in chains all started in the late 80's but I guess a lot of people don't realize this because their used to the music they've done after they became really famous.

Also the original Nintendo Entertainment System was still popular after the Super Nintendo came out. :D I'm a Nintendo 8-bit child and I hold the gaming systems in a special place in my heart because of the memories they bring once upon a happier time in my life. Being nostalgic is a part of my depression .. .. ..

It's actually kind of funny how you'll still find un-refurbished 8-bit Nintendo systems working till this day :/ Yet the X-box 360 is notorious for it's cooler fan failure, which results in a ring red of death :(

I'm a 90's child by heart who realized that I'm actually a 90's cultural child and if you think about it, I'm also a hybrid late 80's child as well lol

So if you grew up anywhere between 1994 - 2006 or 08, then you're a 90's culture child as well :P

After either 06 or 08, the new century, 2000's had officially started lol

I was born in 1999 and watched Boomerang and just about all the 90s cartoons so I consider myself a 90s kind of. And do you have autism(aspergers)? If so that's pretty cool :) thumbs up for you! And I wish you the best :D.

To be honest, the 90's sort of really died in 2006 rather than 1999 like most of the internet (or people on Youtube who bitch and moan over who's a 90's child and who isn't) thinks.

I've been thinking and although most kids these days don't get to experience the same Nickelodeon that we got to or Cartoon Network, they at least have sort of childhood. In about ten years or so, we'll be seeing things like "I'm a child of 2010" or "I'm a child of the new millennium" and even though we think today's culture is stupid, these kids are going to think the same thing for the next couple of ones ...

Thanks, it's really a double sword having Aspergers because you have your good and you have your bad.

I just see what's the matter with having pride or why we shouldn't feel good about having Autism or any other mental condition or disability...

Are we suppose to feel less than human because we have it ? Is that what those effing stamps wants us all to feel like ?

I don't see Autism as having a disability but yet it again I won't pretend there are the bad things that come with it . Also why all the 'fake hate' on this site ? It's not like Aspies or Auties are all sinless angels and there's bound to be some who might be bullies ...

I'm all over the place. I have some 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, melenial, and melenial-and-one culture. My taste in music is all over the spectrum, my taste in videogames includes some of the stuff from the old ataris as well as the more modern stuff (except FPS, those tend to to disturb me sometimes!) My taste in movies and tv shows is also all over the map. It goes from Addams Family to Men In Black to Ghostbusters, Golden Girls and Get Smart to Kim Possible to the Colbert Report and Daily Show with John Stewart and Lilo and Stitch, Despicable Me, Megamind, and Wreck-It Ralph.

I'm the same way, although I barely watch anything on television now-a-days because it's either a reality show ripping off some other one or something dark and depressing :/

I do love the classics thought :D My dad got me into the Jon Stewart show lol

Yeah, well, 90 percent of everything is crap. I don't actually watch that much new TV other than the news and Jon Stewart and Colbert.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was born in 2000 but still grew up with a lot of that stuff. I know all the cheesy disco tunes from that era..

I guess that'll make you a 90's child since you grew up with a lot of things from the 90's :D If you think about it, Disco didn't really die off but still lives till this day actually. I used to be into everything 80's when I was younger because I loved the music from that decade :) Now-a-days I'm still am but is into alternative rock as well and 70's rock too.
